MEANING & HISTORY
What does Cornelio mean?
Cornelio is a Romance form of Latin Cornelius. The Roman family name is often connected with cornu, horn, although the ancient derivation is not completely secure.
The New Testament Cornelius and early saints helped transmit it in Christian traditions. The family-name formation is firmer than treating horn as an unquestioned literal definition for every bearer.
