MEANING & HISTORY
What does Salatiel mean?
Salatiel is the biblical form used in Spanish and other European traditions corresponding to Shealtiel or Salathiel. The Hebrew formation joins asking with El, God, conventionally I have asked of God.
Parallel Bible versions help establish the exact name correspondence. The ending tiel should not be assigned a separate angelic meaning simply because some other biblical names end similarly.
